Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer of SwapCard, Emily leads the company's financial strategy, manages funding, and plans for long-term growth. She has been involved since the early stages, working with lawyers, developers, and mentors to build the business. Beyond SwapCard, she has experience in finance and entrepreneurship. Through programs at The Wharton School of UPenn, she has built a deeper understanding of business and investing. She has competed in Wharton's investment competitions and startup competitions like the Diamond Challenge, where SwapCard advanced to the semifinals. As president of her school's Enterprise Club, she helps students develop business pitches. She is interested in merging finance and technology to increase accessibility for students from low-income communities. She founded Momentum, a nonprofit supporting low-income student-athletes, and she also developed an AI-powered tennis coaching app to make training more accessible. Across everything she does, her goal is to combine financial thinking with execution to create impactful solutions.
