George Zhang

Chief Business Officer

As Chief Business Officer of SwapCard, George is responsible for driving growth and shaping strategic direction. He has been involved in SwapCard since the beginning, conducting outreach to potential future users through surveys meant to give data on what price ranges would result in the most usage. His current participation in pending pitch competitions, including Ideaction, aims to give SwapCard the most funding possible for development. Beyond SwapCard, he is a leader in multiple communities. He serves as the leader of Model Congress, Chinese Culture Club, and the Financial Literacy and Analysis club at his school. Through the latter, he is working on a project called WealthWise, an online service meant to help others by teaching financial concepts, for example, investing through market simulations, and educational podcasts teaching financial literacy. His experience and interest in business and financial literacy, along with his leadership skills, help ensure SwapCards future success.
